2. Services Description

AAA OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES provides a range of personalized home care and respite care services designed to meet the unique needs of seniors, including but not limited to:

• Personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship and social interaction
• Meal preparation and nutrition support
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Transportation and errand assistance
• Respite care for family caregivers
• Specialized dementia and Alzheimer’s care

3. Service Agreement

Prior to commencing services, clients or their authorized representatives must enter into a formal Service Agreement with AAA OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES. This agreement will outline:

• Specific services to be provided
• Schedule and frequency of care
• Fees and payment terms
• Cancellation and termination policies
• Emergency contact information

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients and their families agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete health information
• Maintain a safe environment for our caregivers
• Notify us of any changes in health condition or care needs
• Treat our staff with respect and dignity
• Provide at least 24 hours notice for schedule changes when possible
• Ensure timely payment for services rendered

5. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due according to the terms specified in your Service Agreement. We accept various forms of payment including credit cards, debit cards, and direct bank transfers.

6. Confidentiality & Privacy

AAA OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all client information. We comply with all applicable privacy laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Personal and health information will only be shared with:

• Authorized family members or representatives
• Healthcare providers involved in the client’s care
• Regulatory authorities when required by law

7. Limitation of Liability

While AAA OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES strives to provide the highest quality care, we cannot guarantee specific health outcomes. Our caregivers are not licensed medical professionals and do not provide medical diagnoses or treatments.

AAA OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services with written notice as specified in the Service Agreement. AAA OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of:

• Non-payment of fees
• Unsafe conditions for our caregivers
• Abusive behavior toward our staff
• Fraudulent information provided

9. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

We value your feedback and are committed to resolving any concerns promptly. If you have a complaint about our services:

• Contact our office directly to discuss your concerns
• We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
• If unresolved, disputes will be handled through mediation before any legal action

10. Modifications to Terms

AAA OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
